Back when I was operating Oakfield Farm, I was facing a dilemma with my loader/yard tractor, it was struggling with the tasks I had for it. I took the plunge and got a telehandler for lifting, a vehicle I'd never really considered, but the whole 4-wheel steering just made sense. Still took a bit of financial consideration, as I'm not really one for a single task vehicle, a loader tractor can be used for field work, not so much for a telehandler. But I was able to trade down my loader for a cheaper/smaller field tractor, which was much better suited for crop care. It took a couple of weeks, but I was very satisfied with my choice. The telehandler is an amazing bit of kit for farms with tight yards.
