HONEST Farming Simulator 22 REVIEW | All the BEST & WORST Features

It needs softbody damage to vehicles, and ground deformation. The more I look into this game the less I want it. It's just more of the same from the past ten years with more gimmicks, and less real innovation. Sounds like all they did was steal the modders ideas, and put them in the main game. This series needs a major overhaul on a fundamental level to start with. This game engine is on life support.

Wow, great video. I finally got it today, was kinda waiting for the mods before I started playing. I will say that it's a big learning curve, especially if you've never played it before. I never ever bothered with animals because it seemed so daunting. Especially on Xbox

The physics stuff is really immersion breaking when you're playing a simulator. Honestly just how wonky it is to lift items onto a trailer with a front loader just makes me want to quit and play a different game. I understand maybe in the 2013-2015 era, but come on, it needs an overhaul. Snowrunner has much better physics and I'd love to see something similar in FS22.

Helpful review with good future suggestions, thanks. This is the first time I finally tried a FS game with FS22 on PS5. Fun sim game and creating with Construction mode is fun. No stalling frame issues though it will slow down in heavy detailed areas with lots of stuff onscreen, from 60 fps 4K to maybe 30 fps sometimes.

U know i think its better than fs 19th. But if u gonna play it alone it'll take foreva ta do everything.. i fink this game on multiplayer mood is really awesome .. i dont play it till now still on 19th .. but one day ill get it soon … anyway keep on it an make more videos on it … cheers

No, no, ….no it still needs mods. Lots of fucking mods. Soooo many mods,
Yesss they need mini tutorials, also settings to toggle off recipes for shit. Real world, not many farmers build a fucking mine and dig for essentials to make plastic and steel in order to sell milk ffs.
The seasons fucking SUCcccccKkkkk. Same with fucking night time. Its always bloody night time. So much so we put up stadium lights every fucking where to make the game enjoyable.
The store still sucks, give us a search function ffs.
and certain tools and implements like loaders etc are so fucking difficult to use that its just like nah fuck this il just edit the save game file.
The production chain crap is annoying.
Also the vehcile upgrades front is so fucking boring. I download the gps and tune mod. to add a couple of more options… but every tractor should options to change shit around on.
Also the store tells you NOTHINGggggg ie wtf is the diference between a cultivator or a plow?

I fucking hate 22. Ive moved back to 19. 22 just has so many fuck arounds you need to do. Yeah ok maybe you could say its more realistic. butttt its fucking boring. I hate the fact that i cant easily make money just vanilla farming.

I play with a controller and the steering is SHOCKING. Without the realistic steering mod from fs19 its unplayable. What a joke Giants. Playing a driving game with wasd is for children and not all of us want to unbolt our wheel from our sim rig.

Have they enlarged the font size since fs19? I hardly ever play it because its so hard to see at my age.

Never have I ever been so disappointed at a FS release. Going from FS19 to this, felt like me playing No Mans Sky for the first time. So many promises of improvements was not met. It's just FS19 with a graphics mod that looks over saturated and is so badly optimized, I cant get it over 60 fps at any time. A.I is useless, the traffic is worse than ever, physics is horrendous – nothing is improved. At least FS19 was better optimized and there are tons of mods that really makes the game outstanding.
Dear devs – stop making the mod-community fix you games and add usable and optimized features for you full price game.

I've played every farming game in existence. I own this on PS5. I barely ever play them, because I feel like an idiot. I do the tutorial, and then I start getting a grasp of it, then I play my other games, and by the time I come back…I have to start over again. Watching your review makes me want to jump back into it. Thanks again for yet another great review. Early congrats on 30K subs. I'm about to hit 20K in roughly the next month or so.

FS22 is the worst game I bought for a long time. At this point I'm back on FS19 because the gameplay and grafics are just very disappointing. And without mods the game is just boring.

Ohh finally someone is saying it the way it is. A serious and honest review without unnecessary grumbling. Points out all the right areas for criticism where necessary and deserved. I’ve bought FS 13, 15, 17 and FS19. Not doing it again. Especially for $89.99 and that’s not the ultimate platinum deluxe gold limited edition. I’ll play FS19 one day again maybe.

THe modding community MAKE most of these games now, the devs are lazy and just want the cash grab and then wait for the modders to fix everything. It's been this way since Bethesda set the scene with that behaviour. Squad, of Kerbal Space Program fame, famously stole modders code and didn't pay them (and said to try and sue them because they're in Mexico, and I quote, 'lol'.) so they're the robber barons of our current generation at this point.

FS17 was terrible, FS19 was worse still. I was so thankful I tried before I bought – I always pirate games first to see what they're like. Both of those I absolutely ditched in record time. If FS22 isn't INCREDIBLE well – I'll not be surprised tbh.

This game sucks !!! It takes forever to grow crops even with seasons turned off. Spend it up to 360x and reduced the days per month to like 3 or 4 and it will not grow a crop . I fertilize two three times doesn’t help. I can grow a crop in my yard faster then this shit. I played over two years according to the games statistics and was only able to harvest 1 field. I’ll die of old age before this shit does anything. Poor chickens haven’t eaten in months, wtf!!!

Sorry actually animal husbandry is not farming. The requirements not necessary.
