Farming Simulator 22 has a Dynamic PDA | Awesome new feature

Farming Simulator 22 keeps amazing I just found out last nght during a live stream that FS22 includes a dynamic PDA that updates its field area to reflect created and merged fields as well as updates if you later change the field as a result of painting. This is very different than just showing you the crop or a field work layer on the new field. The actual PDA changes as does the mini-map.

  1. Uh… This has been i the game since FS 17 im 99.99999999999% sure. I wouldnt call it Dynamic PDA because it just shows it on the AI, they are simply OVerlaying everything. If it was truly dynamic then the field numbers would change.

  2. This was one of those gripes i had with FS19. They still have work to do i think but The map should generate more real time based on what you do to the world, combine fields, make new roads and paths for yourself etc. and the map more accurately reflect that.

  3. Is there a way base game or mod that will show field size (acres, hectares) and will the new PDA reflect new field size. Love the videos. You are the go to guy for solid, tested FS data. Thanks for the time and effort you put in.

  4. First I didn't notice it in my game, but now you pointed it out I have seen it, With the merging of fields and turning a field into grass via Landscape tool so I can put some buildings onto said land. Knowing its a thing does make it all the more realistic. I also noticed that time itself in Nov/Dec in-game gets darker sooner, had to turn on my lights around 4pm rather than around 7 to 8pm much like it is in the UK around that same time…

  5. Great video, I am just about to merge/expand my first fields so I hadn't noticed this yet. I bet they had to make it dynamic to get the worker AI to work properly (not driving through middle of fields).
