  1. That sucks about the wheat 😩 I too changed the amount of days per month to 3 and didn't realise it would skip to September . Luckily I harvested everything day one and did the bailing the next day.

  2. I think the frustration in watching these videos does not come from the play itself or from changing plans on the fly, but from people playing the game themselves and just the fact they would choose a different approach, turn, what have you. It's the problem of being able to let go of the steering wheel and just relaxing and coming along for the ride.

  3. Hello Sir, After watching your video's on Calmsden Farm, I did a test on the Seasons myself and I had the same result as you, the second day being the Sep 1. When I started a new game I went straight to the in-game setting and changed the days per season from 1 to 2 and then I saved and exited the game. When I re-started the save game it still said Aug, With out playing the game i increased the time to 360 to advance to the next day. Which came up as the Sep 1. When you change the number of days per season there is a note beside the input field that states that when you change the number of days per season the effect is not active until the next season, hence the Sep 1.

Therefore to be able to harvest both of the fields you would have to go against your principle of speed 5 and reduce to the speed so that you can harvest both fields in Aug. To maintain a 2 day seasons you to change the number of days in Aug.

  4. I can't speak for Europe but we have what is called crop insurance is cost a certain % per hectare and you will pretty much get the cost of seed and some of the cost of fertilizer back if it gets destroyed

  5. running 1 day months at 5X speed with large fields is kind of the problem here. I would suggest playing with time compression more. given the ability to do 28 day months, if you were going for realism, you've already blown that.

Doesn't bug the series really, but I'd consider not holding yourself to 5X time compression

  6. Fabulous video Daggerwin. It's great to have a british map on FS22 and what a brilliant map it is too. Thanks Oxygen David. Definitely an FS limitation not being able to harvest in September in the UK.

  7. I allmost have same thing happen to me, for my lucky i did look at crop calender and left sraw bailing for september. ofcource for video it is better to do differend jobs so it not just harvesting.. and it would be nice if the season lenght would change right away an not how it is changing now

  8. Glad to see it did not only happen to me. It requires a bit of getting used to only one gameday in August. Better start harvesting and deal with baling next day. Using organic fertilizer is very much in the time. The price on artificial fertilizer has sky rocketed.

  9. Listening to Daggerwin explaining his "strategic decisions" is kinda funny. Imo buying fields wasn't an issue, the biggest mistakes are buying machinery for one-time use then selling it, and buying expensive production buildings for small scale use

  10. Thanks for the heads up on the wheat, I was following along and thought, watch the video first. Lucky for me I harvested in the dark and saved the crop. Looking forward the this series very much. I do have my own plan for what direction I'll take but it's still fun to play side by side.

  11. You know you can sell the fuel tanks at cow barn and main farm and dog house for like 800000.00 great head way I grew up on a real farm and sometimes you can't get to all the fields just plow it up and try again Daggerwin
